CV Program Coordinator

The CV Program actively assists beneficiaries at a key stage of the process of finding a job, namely drafting their CVs. The Program provides individualized support in this regard by connecting beneficiaries with trained volunteers in a collaborative process that lasts either 1 or 2 sessions (depending on the beneficiary’s needs). As the CV Program Coordinator, you would be responsible for assuring that the program runs smoothly.  

We don’t expect you to have prior experience with Program Coordination, there will be detailed trainings until you feel ready to work independently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Check the new applications for CV Editing Program 
  • Communicate with the CV Editors and the Beneficiaries in order to schedule their sessions  
  • Update Outlook Calendar and book the space for the sessions 
  • Be the connection between the CV Editor and the beneficiary 
  • Keep track of how the process is going with each beneficiary 
  • Participate in the translation of CVs if possible 
  • Update Aidhound (Lisbon Project database) 
  • Recruit volunteers and manage the CV Editing Program team 
  • Work closely with the Employment Manager to improve the structure of CV Editing Program 


  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Friendliness (you must be a people’s person, and eager to help!)  
  • Cultural awareness and ability to interact with people from different cultures, genders and religious backgrounds. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Respect of beneficiary confidentiality. 
  • Strong organizational and management skills. 
  • Fluency in English. Portuguese is highly valued. 
  • Computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, Google Suite).
  • Availability to go to the Lisbon Project office very often.

Time Commitment: 20 hours a week (minimum 6 months)
