Employment Partnership Lead

This role at the Employment Program relies on employment-focused partnerships and/or job vacancies that the Lisbon Project team becomes aware of. As the Lisbon Project’s Employment Partnerships Lead you will be responsible for understanding the partners’ requests and job opportunities available. The main goa is to support all necessary tasks to help deliver and manage successful partnership job applications.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Participate, when needed, in employment-focused partnership meetings, becoming the main point of contact for new partnerships job opportunities;
  • Work closely with the designated representative from partner companies while trying to understand and respond to their specific recruitment needs and deadlines;
  • Organize all partnership information, keeping an updated file on all available job opportunities;
  • Screen beneficiaries CVs and job applications by using our database (Aidhound), our internal communications app (Slack), social media or by using other means;
  • Initiates and maintains contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings throughout the recruitment and hiring process;
  • Send CVs to partners monthly (each partner should have a set number of CVs that should be sent monthly);
  • Cooperate with CV Xpress Lead to identify and adapt to our standards the CVs for the partners, guaranteeing the quality of the CVs sent to the partners;
  • Collect feedback from beneficiaries and partners, to suggest improvements, new partnerships and identify future hiring needs;
  • Be flexible to perform any other HR tasks assigned by the Employment Manager or by the Job Matching Coordinator.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese. Other language skills are valued;
  • Strong leadership skills, capacity to build teams;
  • Detail-oriented and efficient;
  • Excellent at time management and ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to record and organize all necessary documentation;
  • Strong interpersonal communication including the ability to motivate others;
  • Superior ability to build personal networks at a senior level, resulting in securing new opportunities and strategic growth for the organization;
