Job Matching Coordinator

This stage of the Employment Program is completely reliant on employment-focused partnerships and other job vacancies that the Lisbon Project team comes to know via different channels. As the Lisbon Project’s Job Matching Coordinator you would be responsible for overseeing and managing the Employment Leads and their activities, making sure they are working collaboratively and efficiently. The goal is to be able to bridge between hiring-companies and our beneficiaries who are searching for employment, in order to achieve successful job matches.

Essential duties and responsabilities:

  • Develop and update job descriptions for the team leads
  • Interview, recruit and train the team leads
  • Design and implement overall recruitment strategy
  • Support Job Matching Leads in interviewing, recruiting and training for their team
  • Guarantee the team is working efficiently and in constant communication with each other
  • Support Job Matching Leads with any difficulty or queries they may have
  • Organize regular meetings with the Job Matching Leads to build team spirit, receive feedback, brainstorm improvements, and find smart and functional solutions to employment-related problems that may arise. 
  • Gather frequent feedback from both beneficiaries and hiring-companies regarding the recruitment process and after a beneficiary has been hired
  • Support the Employment Program Manager in the creation of monthly and quarterly reports by collecting feedback from beneficiaries and partners, and other employment-related data which include but are not limited to: number of CVs sent, number of job interviews scheduled and number of positive job outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and Portuguese. Other language skills are valued
  • Strong capacity to build and motivate teams
  • Detail-oriented, efficient and excellent at time management and ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands
  • Effective in developing high-potential team members to achieve growth and maximum contribution
