summary:

There are many reasons for moving to a different country. Some people move seeking a better job and education, while others flee from human rights violations, persecution, and violent conflicts. Whatever the reason and the status, migrants or refugees face some challenges not only on the journey to the new country but also when they arrive, such as discrimination, labour exploitation, language barriers that can lead to isolation, and others.

Aiming to tackle these challenges and integrate and empower migrants and refugees, at the Lisbon Project, every week our team organize various events and activities part of our five programs. Our programs are Community Life, Education, Employability, Social Care, and Benevolence.
